Bahia – Fazenda São Francisco do Corumbau
“Distant place” is the meaning in Pataxó of the word Corumbau, due to the long point of sand that advances on the sea, where the horizon seems to be lost and we can almost touch the infinite. There are 15 km of deserted beach, 1.5 km in front of the farm, with white sand and crystal clear water, with huge coconut trees by the sea. The beach still holds a long necklace of coral reefs, which go about 10 km offshore and disappear when the tide goes up.
Ponta do Corumbau, extreme south of Bahia, between Porto Seguro and Prado, 40 km south of Porto Seguro along the coast and 230 km along the road, with 175 km of asphalt and 55 km of land. There are 15 km of white sand beach and crystal clear water, with huge coconut trees by the sea.
On the other side of the river Corumbau, which passes behind the farm, is the National Park of Monte Pascoal, with the Pataxó indigenous reserve, which can be visited. Streets of land, rare species of birds and virgin vegetation were preserved by locals, mostly fishermen.

Accommodations: The hotel has 4 super luxury bungalows with 150m2 each, king size bed, 32 LCD TV and private garden bathroom, and 6 luxury suites with 40m2 each and king size bed, 2 of which are on the upper floor of the headquarters and 4 in two independent bungalows (2 of which are suites in each bungalow). All rooms feature furniture with integrated space designs, bedding and bath Trousseau, split air conditioning, minibar, CD player, safe, and large balconies facing the sea.
