Txai Resort Itacaré is located on the paradisiacal beach of Itacarézinho, 15 km from the city of Itacaré and 48 km from Ilhéus, on the southern coast of the state of Bahia, known as Costa do Cacau. The Resort is located within 100 hectares of native Atlantic forest, an old coconut and cocoa farm, right in front of the sea and part of the Itacaré Serra Grande Environmental Protection Area (APA). The Txai bungalows were individually built on stilt-like structures surrounded by a wooden deck and details in piaçava, these were scattered around the coconut grove to ensure the privacy of their guests
Txai Itacaré has three restaurants. One foot in the sand, stripped, by the pool. Another on top of the hill overlooking the sea and the coconut trees and a third, more refined, in front of the south pool also the seafront. The Txai also offers beach and bar service, with the best seafood and the Bahian cuisine delicacies.
The Shamash Healing Space Spa proposes practices that reach all the senses and provoke small and sensitive transformations that lead to well-being. The place has a heated pool with sea view, dry and wet sauna, and a cozy space for relaxation. Among the menu options are the suggestions of massages, therapies, rituals and aesthetic treatments.
